DESCRIPTION:The third YEAA Scripts table read will take place on Monday\, November 9th\, 2026\, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the ACTRA Toronto office (625 Church Street\, Suite 200\, Toronto)! We’re looking for YEAA ACTRA members who are interested in observing the table read and providing their feedback after the reading. \nA pre-cast group of YEAA performers will read Love The Sinner\, a feature-length script written by ACTRA member Rachel Renaud. Rachel is a queer nonbinary writer\, director\, and actor originally from the West Coast. They started out as a child actor and later fell in love with all other facets of storytelling when they received funding to write their first full-length play\, Love the Sinner\, an award-winning\, extremely lesbian dramatic play that features dildo puppets. They are total psychology and interpersonal relationship nerd\, deeply invested in community\, mental health\, and joy. They love to bluntly explore taboo and uncomfortable topics in their work. Please note\, this script does contain sensitive content\, including transphobia\, homophobia\, religion\, and sex.\n\nFollowing the reading\, participants and the audience will have the opportunity to discuss the script and provide feedback in a collaborative development environment. \nLight refreshments will be provided. \nCapacity is limited.  Please RSVP below by 9 a.m. ET on Monday\, November 9th\, 2026\, to confirm your attendance.

DESCRIPTION:ACTRA Toronto Diversity and Inclusion Committee is proud to announce our next Access Series event: An Audition Workshop with Chandler Boriska. \nThe Access Series creates meaningful connections between ACTRA Toronto performers and the industry professionals who shape their careers\, including casting directors\, directors\, showrunners\, and more. Through workshops\, live feedback\, Q&As\, and candid conversations\, The Access Series will give performers practical insight into the industry\, a chance to ask questions\, strengthen their craft\, and better understand the processes behind the scenes. \nThe Access Series is open to all ACTRA Toronto performers in good standing. \n  \nWhen: November 11\, 2026\, from 2:30 – 5 p.m \nWhere: Online (Zoom) \n  \nHow to Participate:  \nOption 1: Attend the Workshop \nVisit the registration page. Virtual attendees will receive the Zoom link 1–2 days before the workshop. \nOption 2: Submit a Self-Tape for Expert Feedback \nWant Chandler Boriska to review your work? \n\nVisit the registration page starting October 28\, 2026.\nUse the form to register and submit your reel\, resume and headshot by 5 p.m. on November 2\, 2026.\nWe will notify selected participants by email by November 4\, 2026. Slides (provided by Chandler and team) will be sent on November 5\, 2026.\nRecord a self-tape as though you are auditioning for a role.\nSubmit your self-tape by November 9\, 2026. \nThe audience will review self-tapes live on November 11\, and selected participants will have the chance to receive live redirection/feedback from Chandler and perform it like a Zoom callback.\n\nNote: You must also register for the workshop.
