Labour Day 2023
JOIN US ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 AT THE LABOUR DAY PARADE
A message from ACTRA Toronto President David Gale
Monday, September 4, 2023 is Labour Day!
Labour Day is September 4 – the biggest celebration of worker pride in Toronto! ACTRA Toronto, as always, is marching. But this year’s Labour Day parade is much more than a walk to the Ex.
ACTRA is fighting hard to protect our jobs, our pay, our benefits and our commercial jurisdiction.
I know work opportunities, fair compensation and benefits are as important to you as they are to me. This Labour Day, join us as we march with our Labour allies to defend those rights.
60 years ago, ACTRA members fought hard to establish the National Commercial Agreement (NCA). Now it’s our turn to fight.
All ACTRA Toronto members and their families are invited to attend the parade and be part of the ACTRA Toronto contingent.
Each attendee will receive a FREE T-shirt and admission to the CNE, while supplies last (NOTE: Preference will be given to ACTRA Members in good standing).
So come walk with your fellow ACTRA Toronto members and let’s show our strength and solidarity.
See you at the parade!
David Gale
