Meet your new ACTRA Toronto Council

Dear ACTRA Toronto members,

I am so proud of the strength and solidarity displayed by ACTRA Toronto members this year and beyond as our union has faced a number of challenges. From the ongoing lockout of commercial performers to the strikes in the U.S. to the existential threat of artificial intelligence, we’ve stayed strong and supportive of our union, our industry and each other.

While we can’t ignore the challenges, we must also take the time to acknowledge and celebrate what an exciting time it is for our union as we continue to adapt, grow and build strength in an increasingly digital environment.

Thank you to all the members who cast a ballot in the ACTRA Toronto 2023 Council Election. This was your opportunity to use your voice and your vote to shape the direction of the union for the next two years.

The newly elected ACTRA Toronto Council has shown their commitment to taking you on this journey.

The ballots have been counted and the results are in. Congratulations to the successful candidates and deep gratitude to all those who ran and offered to serve the membership.
