ACTRA Toronto’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a chance for members to get together, meet with their elected representatives and find out what’s going on in our industry and in our union.

Members gathered on Wednesday, May 29, 2024,at Young People’s Theatre for ACTRA Toronto’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).

ACTRA Toronto Executive Council and Executive Director Alistair Hepburn reported on the state of the industry and the impact of the ongoing commercial lockout and the SAG and WGA strikes on union revenues. The Executive presented the ACTRA Toronto 2024-2025 Operating Plan and updated members on Council’s action plan to protect our livelihoods, improve our working conditions and increase our work opportunities in the age of AI.

For the first time, ACTRA Toronto’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) was live-streamed for members who were unable to attend the in-person event.
