PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Dear ACTRA Toronto members,
I am so proud of the strength and solidarity displayed by ACTRA Toronto members throughout this past term. Together, we’ve faced some of the most complex challenges in our union’s history, from the ongoing lockout of commercial performers to the seismic shifts brought by artificial intelligence. Yet, through it all, we’ve shown resilience, creativity, and unwavering commitment to one another.
While we must continue to confront these challenges head-on, we can also take pride in what we’ve built, including historic gains in the IPA negotiations and a stronger, more adaptable union that continues to grow and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.
Thank you to every member who cast a ballot in this year’s ACTRA Toronto Council Election. Your participation helps shape the future of our union and keeps our democracy strong.
The ballots have been counted, and the results are in. Congratulations to the successful candidates, and deep gratitude to everyone who stepped forward to serve. Your dedication and vision make our union stronger.
