DESCRIPTION:Registration is open for the next Toronto ACTRA Women’s Committee (TAW*C) in-person-only meeting\, which will be held on Thursday\, June 26\, 2025\, from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. ET in the boardroom at the ACTRA Toronto Office (625 Church Street\, suite 200). Bring your water bottles\, snacks\, writing utensils &/or tablets.  \nThe meeting will also include a Writer’s Jam session.   \nAbout the Writer’s Jam session1.5 hours | In-person  \nWriter’s Jam is a creative\, guided writing session designed to unlock flow and build confidence on the page. We begin with a group check-in\, followed by a prompt to spark inspiration. A 20-minute freestyle writing segment invites uncensored expression—whether responding to the prompt\, continuing a project\, or following wherever your thoughts lead. We close with a reflective check-out\, offering space to share insights or discoveries. Drawing from a multidisciplinary background and a passion for storytelling\, she encourages participants to connect with their voice\, trust the process\, and keep the pen moving. \nTonjha is an ACTRA Toronto Councillor\, Co-Chair of the TAWC and Disability Alliance Subcommittee\, and Facilitator of the Respect on Set workshop.
