We begin with a group check-in\, followed by a prompt to spark inspiration. A 20-minute freestyle writing segment invites uncensored expression—whether responding to the prompt\, continuing a project\, or following wherever your thoughts lead. We close with a reflective check-out\, offering space to share insights or discoveries. A space to write freely\, connect deeply\, and create without judgement.  \nWriter’s Jam is a creative\, guided writing session designed to unlock flow and build confidence on the page. SUMMARY:2025 Pride Parade
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 29\, 2025\, ACTRA Toronto is participating in the annual Toronto Pride Parade. \nThe starting point for the Parade has changed\, so we’ll be doing things a little bit differently this year. Your first stop at 11:30 a.m. on June 29 is AFBS (1000 Yonge Street) to grab a free T-shirt! When you arrive\, you’ll be greeted by an ACTRA Toronto staff person or volunteer\, who will provide you with your T-shirt. Once you got your swag\, join the rest of the crew a few steps away in Ramsden Park (1020 Yonge Street) for a pre-Parade party. Our scheduled time to begin marching is between 12:45 and 1 p.m. That’s the time when we’re officially on the move. If you’re running behind schedule\, meet us at this year’s starting point for the parade – Yonge Street and Aylmer Avenue – no later than 1 p.m. \nPlease be aware that the Parade sometimes starts later than expected and we may be waiting at our Parade position for up to an hour before we get moving\, so make sure you have good sun protection and lots of water. \nRegister here: Pride Parade Registration – ACTRA Toronto \nIf you have any questions or concerns\, please let us know at lgbtq@actratoronto.com
