Reciprocal Agreements with Other Performers’ Unions

If you belong to a professional performers’ organization that has a reciprocal agreement with ACTRA you may join as a Full member based on your first engagement in ACTRA’s jurisdiction.

Members of Canadian Actors’ Equity Association (CAEA) are given a $475 reduction in the initiation fee.   ACTRA-CAEA Reciprocal Agreement

Members of the U.S. union SAG-AFTRA or Equity (U.K.) pay a $1,600 initiation fee plus $195 in annual dues to join after landing a speaking part or Silent-On-Camera role in ACTRA’s jurisdiction.

Note: The terms of these reciprocal Agreements do not remove the requirement set out in ACTRA’s Constitution (Article 301), that ACTRA members must be Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada.
